Poker Run Sunday for teen
GASTONIA, N.C. -- The 3rd annual Benefit Poker Run &
Bike Show for 15-year-old Dakota Gay of Lake Wylie will
be held Aug. 27 at Que's Sports Bar, 1117 S. York Road U.S.
321, Gastonia.
Gay, 15, has battled brain cancer for three years, and
now is fighting two forms of leukemia.
Registration is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a bike show
at 5 p.m. Entertainment includes the following bands: Clear
Water, ISO, Johnny Train and Clinch beginning at 5 p.m.
One hand costs $10, or three for $15.
There also will be an auction with 50/50 tickets sold.
